The restoration can be tightened by your dentist. If this is not the case and the dental implant is loose, it is considered a dental emergency that requires immediate care.

If your dental implant is loose because of infection, dental trauma, or implant failure we will need to access the area to determine if the implant can be saved. In some circumstances saving the implant isn’t always possible. As an example, gum disease can cause your teeth to loosen or fall out, and lead to dangerous oral infections, which are both dental emergencies.
